EMA Deviation Alert: Price Near the Moving Average

Triggers when price comes within a set percentage of an EMA — perfect for pullback entries.

1

Choose timeframe and EMA period

Select a timeframe (5m / 15m / 1h / 4h) and an EMA period (range 1–200, default 20). EMA20 is the most common choice for short-term trend tracking.

2

Set the deviation threshold

The alert triggers when the percentage gap between current price and EMA is ≤ your threshold. Example: SOL 1h EMA20, threshold 0.2% — triggers when SOL is within 0.2% of its 1h EMA20.

3

Practical use

Set up this alert when you want to be notified as price pulls back toward a key moving average. Combine with a Price Level alert below the EMA for confluence.
